DEAL WITH EMERGENCIES – When you find yourself in a high-tension situation, there is no time to think. You have to act immediately as a few seconds of delay could mean more danger for the person. Good trauma bandage scissors or the best trauma shears in your first aid kit mean you will not be caught off guard!

100% SAFE – These medical utility shears are safe to use as they have serrated blades. The shears have a blunt rounded tip. The serrated blade cuts through almost anything due to the sturdy yet smooth pivot action the design offers. Simultaneously, the medical scissors ensure one does not cut skin while cutting off the bandages. They are safe to use, even when you are slicing through clothing in a rush.

SOLID HOLD – While handling trauma shears, the last thing you want is a painful and uncomfortable grip. It can lead to slipping of the scissors from your hands, causing cuts, and injuries and might be fatal to the patient. These medical scissors are lightweight and ergonomically designed to provide a steady, non-slip grip. The plastic grips with large finger openings are specially to stand up to rough treatment and autoclave temperatures, setting these EMT trauma scissors apart from all disposable shears.

I like the pattern and its color!! They work great!!!

As a professional paramedic, I use these types of sheers often in the field to cut both bandages and clothing. They are handy to have around, and can cut through most things without difficulty. If you are serious about having a decent first aid kit, you should include a pair or two of these. These sheers by cynamed are pretty standard for what I have seen over the years. They work well enough, are lightweight and easy to hold, and have the tip that is safer for use so that you don’t cut the patient. I like the green color and the designs on the blades of the sheers, the aesthetics are usually different among brands. The lighter color shows dirt and blood more readily, making them easier to clean. I initially thought these seemed a bit pricey, but at looking at the others available on Amazon, I see that they are actually reasonably priced. Nice product.

This type of bandage shears, made from stamped, hardened, steel, has become pretty ubiquitous anywhere a rugged pair of shears is needed. They’re often called EMT scissors, as they’ve usually part of an EMT’s kit. Unlike the traditional Lister bandage shears they can’t be heat sterilized or sharpened, but they’re cheap enough to replace when they become dull- usually after a lot of use. There generally isn’t much If any functional difference between one pair and another, so purchasing decisions are usually made on price and appearance. These are priced at the lower end, so if the color and graphics appeal to you, you well find them a good addition to you kit. This pair is going in the first aid kit I keep in my car.

    – No indication anywhere of country of manufacture (illegal in the US)These are terrible. Apparently this is some sort of “limited edition”, they’ve covered the scissors in paint and blurry company logo.I assume it’s the paint being thick but I can barely open these. They move jerkily when they move at all, and they’ve painted parts that rub against each other so there’s paint shavings coming off them. That’ll be just great in an open wound, I’m sure.If you look closely, you can see the 2 cutting edges don’t meet, either. One side bows outwards in the middle. I would assume that would contribute to the poor cutting as well.I tried to take pix. I don’t know how well it’ll show up on Amz but I tried. The handle is hard plastic. There is no way these can be a professional tool. They’re not usable in an urgent situation.Don’t forget to use the Smile.Amazon.com address – It’s an Amazon program where many everyday things you buy will generate a small donation from Amazon to the charity of your choice.
